The research was conducted in collaboration with Dr. John M. Tyler of LSU and was funded by the United States Department of Energy. A large number of EOR field projects in carbonate reservoirs have been referenced in the literature since the early s. These field projects demonstrate the technical feasibility of various EOR methods in carbonate reservoirs. However, because of the collapse in oil prices, most of the aforementioned project plans have been abandoned.

The Devonian shale sequences are dominantly marine shale but include some siltstone and sandstone. Tight gas sandstone formations of other than Devonian age are present throughout the United States and consist primarily of fluvial and marine sandstones and siltstones. In addition, gas also occurs in low-permeability marine carbonate reservoirs. World Championship in Environmental Sciences (Reservoirs) acknowledges the outstanding international contributions and is selected based on international meritorious competition. IASR extends best wishes for your endeavours enlightening scientific domain with your efforts.

Like most reservoirs along the front range of Colorado, Union Reservoir was built to supplement irrigation water supplies. It was a natural depression that was presumably deepened and enlarged over time by bison herds that used the natural low spot for watering and wallowing in. Water from the reservoir is primarily used to irrigate farms along. our Customer Care Department within the United States at , outside the United States at or fax Wiley also publishes its books in a variety of electronic formats.
